Fast and Fabulous Friday - Timeless Textures AGAIN!

Hello My Friends!

I have no time.  AGAIN!  Literally.  No time.  So glad it is time for a Fast & Fabulous Friday!

I decided to CASE myself today !   (Copy And Share Everywhere)

Remember the gorgeous and easy fast & fabulous Timeless Textures card I made for last Friday (you can see it HERE).  Well, I repeated it today, using Wisteria Wonder instead of Mint Macaron as my monotone colour.  Easy peasy.

Timeless Textures makes a gorgeous background using one inkpad, one stamp set and random stamping.  Add a diecut dragonfly and done!

Get what you need to make this or any other project by placing your order online HERE (at check out, please use the hostess code YKYHPPFD) or contact me to place your order for you.

And if you want a LOT of stuff?  Well then, save yourself a TON of money - up to $200 - by making your purchase into a fully customizeable Starter Kit purchase.  See the details HERE or contact me so we can save you lots of money while getting you everything you want.

Hope your upcoming weekend promises to be spectacular!   God Bless,      Cynthia   <><

Thailand Achievers Blog Hop - Last Call For Sale-A-Bration!

Hello Friends

There are only 10 more days for you to get your Sale-A-Bration freebies so this is your LAST CALL.  And of all the items available, the Avant Garden stamp set is my favourite by far.....
Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron

You may be starting at my blog - Cynthia Millan - or perhaps you've already hopped around?  Either way, make sure you check the list at the bottom of this post and visit all of the blogs.

And if you live ANYWHERE in Canada and want to order to get your FREE Sale-A-Bration goodies, then contact me or visit my online store.  I would love to help you get your hands on these fabulous goodies!

Place a Sale-A-Bration order with me before March 31 and you'll get your choice of any one of these cards!!  E-mail me to tell me which colour you prefer!
Elegant Eggplant and Calypso Coral

The Avant Garden stamp set is gorgeous any way you look at it and makes beautiful cards.  But I think it is particularly lovely (and pretty easy too) when you use the "Emboss-resist" technique.  It's a fast and easy technique - just stamp your image with versamark then apply embossing powder over the image (I used white).
Soft Sky and Smoky Slate

Once you have heated the powder to melt it, you can sponge over top of it using the same colour of ink as the cardstock.   The embossed image seems to absolutely pop off the card when you sponge just a bit of tone-on-tone ink around it.  Aren't the results absolutely gorgeous?!?
Crumb Cake and So Saffron
Whether its Sweet Sugarplum ink sponged on Sweet Sugarplum cardstock,  Calypso Coral ink on Calypso Coral cardstock, Slate on Slate, Indigo on Indigo, Saffron on Saffron or ....well.... you get the idea....it doesn't matter what colour you use.  Whether bright or subtle, colourful or neutral, thay all turn out absolutely gorgeous!  don't you think so?

They're all beautiful, but tell me, which one is your favourite??
Island Indigo and Melon Mambo

I'm not certain how easy it is for you to see, but the stamped piece of cardstock (whose edges have all been sponged with the same colour of ink) has been layered onto a card base that has been embossed with one of various patterns.  For today's cards I used any one of Petal Burst, Boho Chic or the Elegant Dots embossing folders.  And, fun fact, I used the debossed side in all cases.  That means the raised pattern is facing AWAY from the front of the card.  I thought it gave them all a "softer" look.
Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder

You really don't want to miss out on all the wonderful Sale-A-Bration items that you could get for FREE.  One item for every $60 you spend.  You only have until March 31 so contact me today and place your order (or visit my online store HERE, and if your order is less than $200, please use this hostess code at Checkout   YKYHPPFD)

Thanks for stopping by. Have an absolutely fantastic rest-of-the-week.   Enjoy all the great projects you see as you hop through our blog hop.  And remember - you need to place your order by March 31 in order to get a FREE Sale-A-Bration item.  Hurry!!  You don't want to miss out!

Fast and Fabulous Friday - Timeless Textures

Hello My Friends Friends!

I have no time.  Literally.  No time.  Zip.  So a Fast & Fabulous is all I can do.  Good thing it is Friday, right....?

I can always count on Timeless Textures to make a gorgeous background for my card.  One inkpad, one stamp set, random stamping.  It doesn't get any faster or any easier.

Then just adhere the diecut of your choice.  It could be a butterfly, a dragonfly, a hot air balloon, a flower, a flourish....you name it, any die cut will do.

Done.

For today I chose to use one of my favourite retiring colours - Mint Macaron - before it disappears. The 2015-2017 In Colors officially retire at the end of May, so hurry and order yours now - and get something free from Sale-A-Bration while you are at it.  Every $60 order qualifies for something free, but only until the end of March so hurry!!

And I happened to have a stack of black dragonflies sitting on my desk (from the cards I made HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE) so I used one of those.

Get what you need to make this or any other project by placing your order online HERE (at check out, please use the hostess code VP7YFXQ9) or contact me to place your order for you.

Thankful Thursday - Beautiful You with a Flourish!

Hello My Friends.

This Thankful Thursday installment is a quick card I made to thank one of my co-workers for tirelessly and selflessly offering to help clean up after an all-day Retreat we had last Friday.  Everyone else just wanted to take off for the weekend.  But my co-worker stayed until the last mug was dried and the last chair was stacked.

So this Thank You card was made for her.

A brief how-to:  Stamp the Beautiful You girl then colour her dress quickly using an aquapainter.  Stamp the sentiment below the girl then use the Lots of Labels die to get the main card piece.  Sponge around the edges and mount onto an embossed card front that has 2 Flourish Thinlit embellishments at the corners.  (You might notice that I like to use the de-bossed side for this embossing folder.)

Once again I am feeling blessed that I am in constant need of Thank You cards!!  Life is good!!

Do you live ANYWHERE in Canada?  You can order from me online HERE (at check out, please use the hostess code VP7YFXQ9) or you can contact me to place your order for you.

And if you want a LOT of stuff?  Well then, save yourself a TON of money - up to $200 - by making your purchase into a fully customizeable Starter Kit purchase.  See the details HERE or contact me so we can save you lots of money while getting you everything you want.

Hope you are looking forward to a very Thankful Thursday!   God Bless you all,      Cynthia   <><

WOW Wednesday and Something Different!

Wow!  And now for something COMPLETELY different!

And yes, they are different.  Each and every one of them!

Several times a year I make Curvy Keepsake Boxes for my husband's employees and fill them with Lindt chocolates.  At one time I thought his staff would just be anticipating the treats, but I have come to learn that they are even more appreciative of the cute boxes the treats come in.

Several of them have a collection in their office of various Curvy Keepsake Boxes from past offerings.  They have Santa boxes and Penguins and Grinches;  Bunnies and Chicks and Butterflies;  Even really cute Pumpkins.

This time...they get Minions!
Cute Bunnies for last Year's Spring treat

Wouldn't you know it...the bunnies REPRODUCED!

Cute Penguin Santas made 2 years ago

Wish I had taken pictures of all my Curvy Keepsake creations before we gave them away.  Alas, I have only a few photos.  But boy were they ever fun to make!  The Curvy Keepsake thinlit makes it super easy to create quick boxes and Pinterest is loaded with ways to decorate them.  I have 5 or 6 ideas up my sleeve already to continue the tradition for my hubby's staff so they can be assured of cutie treats for a while to come!

If you don't have your Curvy Keepsake thinlit yet, what are you waiting for?  Get it now - and you will be well on your way to qualifying for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!   Place your order online HERE (at check out, please use the hostess code VP7YFXQ9) or contact me to place your order for you.

And if you want a LOT of stuff?  Well then, save yourself a TON of money - up to $200 - by making your purchase into a fully customizeable Starter Kit purchase.  See the details HERE or contact me so we can save you lots of money while getting you everything you want.

Hope you are looking forward to a WOW of a Wednesday yourself!!   God Bless,      Cynthia   <><

Masculine Monday - High Tide For the Guys

Time for a fast and easy, guy-appropriate card!

The High Tide set is perfect for making cards that are elegant and peaceful, but no-nonsense too.  No glitter, no bling, no ribbons.  But just right for the men in your life (and the women too for that matter!)

I used Tip Top Taupe as my monochromatic colour of choice.  The 2015-2017 In Colors officially retire at the end of May, but trust me, the ink pads and refills will sell out long before then.  Hurry and order yours now - and get something free from Sale-A-Bration while you are at it.  Every $60 order qualifies for something free, but only until the end of March so hurry!!

Now then - I stamped the lighthouse then the grass around the base (Hint:  I had a strip of white showing at the bottom of the card so I inverted the grasses and stamped along the bottom edge to fill this in).

The water ripples were stamped to the right, then the birds in the air.  Adhered to a Taupe mat that had been embossed with the Elegant Dots embossing folder, and this card was done in less than 5 minutes!

It almost sounds too easy, doesn't it?  But trust me, nothing could have been easier!   You can see all the items I used, listed below.   If you live ANYWHERE in Canada, get what you need by placing your order online HERE (at check out, please use the hostess code VP7YFXQ9) or contact me to place your order for you.

And if you want a LOT of stuff?  Well then, save yourself a TON of money - up to $200 - by making your purchase into a fully customizeable Starter Kit purchase.  See the details HERE or contact me so we can save you lots of money while getting you everything you want.

Hope you are looking forward to a wonderful week ahead!!   God Bless,      Cynthia   <><
