If you saw yesterday's post, you know how gorgeous the flowers are that you can make using the Spiral Flower Die from Stampin' Up!. Well today I am here to show you how quick and easy they are to make too! All you need is the Spiral Flower Die, some cardstock, something to wind around (I like a bamboo skewer), and an adhesive (I prefer a hot glue gun but you can use Tombow Multipurpose liquid glue). Watch the video to see how to make paper roses that you can use for all kinds of gorgeous projects!

You are doing great on posting to the web, Cynthia. A very good video!
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia - personally I think this is a little rough and the one coming out later this week is REALLY rough! But oh well, if I waited for perfection, they probably would not get done at all, right?!
DeleteHave a terrific evening and God Bless, ~Cynthia
Cynthia, your roses are divine. I am going to have to make the rose tree. What a perfect centrepiece for any table. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Annette! I really love the Rose Tree myself .... now I need to make another one since this first went to charity. I might actually have to make several since I've made roses in various colours and can't decide which I like the best! Hope your own tree turns out beautifully. How could it not, after all?!
DeleteHave a wonderful rest of the week and thanks for leaving me such a nice comment! God Bless ~Cynthia <><
Hello, Cynthia, just saw the video using the spiral flower die and wondering can you make these beautiful roses without the die? Or can you use the die without have a press? Thanks......I want to make these now since they're so easy and pretty! Thanks for sharing. De'
ReplyDeleteHello De'
DeleteYou can make these without having a die or a Big Shot.....but it is more work and a bit of a pain in the neck. You'll need to cut paper into a spiral yourself. It can be done and the flowers are indeed quite pretty - but the die makes them even more so in my opinion. Not to mention easier!!
Good luck with these. Cut some paper spirals and have at it (ie take a 3" or 4" circle and cut it into a spiral and start winding as I have shown. Try to have the outer edges of the spiral be slightly wider in width than the inner part of the spiral. If you can.). Best of luck. I would love to see how you make out!
Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless, ~Cynthia <><
