Hawaii Incentive Trip - June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Grand Vacation achievers blog hop for June.

This month we are excited to show off projects where we've paired goodies from the new 2015 – 2016 Catalogue with something we already had in the old Catalogue (that is still available!).  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.  Get your wish list ready since I am certain you will see tons that you want!!
For my paired items, I used the new Remarkable You stamp set, and the "old" Sassy Salutations.

Remarkable You was one of the first stamp sets that jumped off the pages and whispered into my ear "pick me".  Something about these images set my whole heart atwitter!  And Sassy Salutations is a very versatile set with a super-cool font that can be used for just about anything; Birthday, thank you, even a Merry Christmas sentiment.  For today I needed to send a congratulatory card to a friend so here is the card I created.....It is hard to capture in these photographs, but this is a real sparkly and glittery "Wow" card in real life.
I stamped the images using Mossy Meadow ink - then....I quickly coloured over the lines (even the sentiment) using my Aquapainter.  I love the blurred-look that you achieve when the ink bleeds just a little bit!  I even dragged the aquapainter across the middles of the leaves to give them a quick pale fill with colour.  This is one of those techniques that takes seconds to do but really makes a line image pop.

But for the real kicker I covered the entire card with versamark, then iridescent ice embossing powder and heated it.  This turned a 'nice' card into an "oh-my-goodness-gracious-what-a-gorgeous-sparkly-shiny-work-of-art" card!!

So much goodness and glitter in such an easy technique.

I am afraid the photos won't ever do this card justice.  But hopefully you have a small idea of how quick and easy it is to create a stunner card.  And hopefully you love the Remarkable You images as much as I do (the other images can be seen in the product picture below).

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop.  So many amazing ideas and so much inspiration - you don't want to miss it.  You might have started your hop here or perhaps you arrived from Kylie's blog (and you probably didn't want to leave either.  Doesn't she make gorgeous creations?!).  Either way, if you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting my blog (Cynthia Millan).  Check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Have fun hopping and thanks for visiting.  God Bless,   ~Cynthia  <><
