Back at last. A long story - for another time perhaps. But for right now, I just HAD to show you these cards.
Pink Rose |
Blue Rose |
Coral Rose |
As soon as I saw the Rose Wonder stamp set, I *knew* I would be using the Floating Re-Inker technique on the image. My only problem is, I cannot decide which colour scheme I prefer?
What about you? Do you prefer the:
1) Blues (Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Tempting Turquoise)?
2) Oranges (Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight)?
3) Pinks (Blackberry Bliss, Melon Mambo and Watermelon Wonder)?
We are making this card at club this month and I am having a hard time deciding which version to have my friends make.
What is your favourite?
Everyone who leaves me a comment will be entered into a draw to win one of these gorgeous cards. So leave your comment below (and also some way for me to contact you if you win......!)
And what about you? Do YOU want to join us as a guest at club this month and make one of these jaw-dropping beauties? Come tonight or tomorrow or this weekend....Tues Jan 19 or Wed Jan 20 or Fri Jan 23, all from 7-9 pm at my home in the east end of Ottawa.
If there is enough interest I may add a Saturday club (10-noon).
Make this card plus 3 others - all for $20 or FREE with a $30 order. (And if your order is $60, you get the class free and you ALSO get to pick a Sale-A-Bration item for FREE)
I'd love to have you join me. Just let me know!!
Until then -- Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.
God Bless,
Cynthia

very nice cards, I love all of them, but I think the orange one is my favorite as it is a bit the colour of the country I am living in now, the Netherlands.

Wow! It's a hard decision, that's for sure! I think the Pinks/Blackberry Bliss one is my fave. I'm a Demonstrator in Australia, so I won't be able to join your class - lol. Once your classes have finished however, would you please share this technique online? I'm guessing the colouring is done on watercolour paper before stamping/cutting out rose, but would love to read a bit more about how you did it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Linny
I like the coral one as it pops out the most. Will you be posting pics of the other cards for the club?
ReplyDeleteSuzane
Hi, normally I would pick the pink but the orange one just makes me smile, a very happy flower. Searching your blog now looking for directions of how you made them. I am in Australia so unable to make it to your card class ;)
ReplyDeleteMost definitely the blue one! You've inspired me to look up and try this technique! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely but my favorite is the oranges.
ReplyDeleteCynthia, I love them all, but my choice is the Coral Rose. It seems to pop more. The colors of Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie just make the card. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood morning my friend. Wow, difficult decision as I tend to lean towards the pinks. However, in this instance I definitely love the "Coral" version. So pretty!

ReplyDeleteI love the blue rose. I would love to know how to do the floating re-inker technique. I live in NC so I am unable to join your class. My email is cindycheney123@gmail.com if you could send me the directions please
ReplyDeleteLove them all but the orange one is striking. I can't make the class this week but hoping you'll do a tutorial on how these are made. You outdone yourself on these cards...again!

Love the orange card..

Hello Cynthia,
ReplyDeleteI like the coral one because it really sticks out against the paper.
They are all beautiful and I would be honored to have any one of them. My favorite tho is the pink combination. You did a great job with this technique. Hope you will be sharing how to do it on your blog. Thank you for the chance to win. My email is myturn4fun@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteLove the orange one!!
ReplyDeleteI like them all, too, but I like the pink one the best, and that sentiment too. The card makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask, will you be putting up a tutorial, or at least written directions, on how to colour these roses? I am in Alberta so will not be able to attend your class, either.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink, reminds me of very good seasons, like Spring, Summer.. I live in the UK... so no chance of coming, but would love to know how you did these elegant all occasion floral delights....
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to make these cards, I really like the pink one but they are all gprgeous
ReplyDeleteThe orange one is my favorite by far. The cards are stunning with the vibrant color and contrasts. Blessings Carole
ReplyDeleteI feel bad voting for your least favourite hue, but I love the orange one. The pink is a close second, though!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! It's a tough choice between the pink and blue one, but I think the pink one takes my vote.
ReplyDeleteI'm a pink girl, but they're all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo very hard to choose but I think the Oranges...it was that or the pinks. They are all beautiful - thank you for sharing them.

DeleteLove this card. Do you think the thick white cardstock would hold up?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late reply. The think card still gets pretty sodden. Shimmery white has that extra bit of substance to it that makes it perfect for this technique. Thank you for your kind words. Hope you are looking forward to a wonderful weekend. God Bless, Cynthia <><
DeleteBeautiful! I'm definitely most fond of the yellow & orange rose.
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous, but I think I like the yellow and orange.
