A Little Black Magic For the Thailand Achiever's Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Hello my Friends.

Welcome to our Sale-A-Bration Thailand Achiever's blog hop.
(You may be starting at my blog - Cynthia Millan - or maybe you've already been hopping around?  Whichever is the case, make certain you check the list at the bottom and visit everyone's blog.  You don't want to miss any of the great projects!)

Today there are 3 NEW, FANTASTIC Sale-A-Bration products that you could choose if you place a qualifying order and we wanted to highlight those.  Alas - mine haven't arrived yet.  My order is due to arrive 2 days from now.    :(   So I am going to show you the still-available Avant Garden Sale-A-Bration set because if you don't have it yet, you definitely WANT TO!

Have you ever wanted the contrast of a gorgeous, vibrant image on a background of black?  But exactly how do you get a coloured image stamped onto black, right?  Ta da - you use the Black Magic technique. That's how I got this Avant Garden flower image coloured on this black cardstock.

I was SO HAPPY when Stampin' Up! brought back their Watercolor Pencils so that I could use this technique again.  Just stamp your image on Basic Black Cardstock using Craft White Ink, and let it dry (or use a heat gun to dry it more quickly).  Then you can use your watercolor pencils to colour on top of the white image.

The white Avant garden flower image is pretty striking all by itself and would make a lovely card.  But I love being able to colour the image to be whatever I want it to be.

You can see I tried a card using Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight watercolor pencils and a second with Pacific Point plus a touch of Bermuda Bay (with Old Olive stems).

The Watercolor Pencils are great for the Black Magic technique AND for using as regular pencils (or specifically as watercolor pencils when you add water and intentionally allow the colours to bleed into each other like THIS POST).  They are so great that they keep selling out.  Seriously my friends - if you want these fantastic pencils you should order them NOW!

{Did you also notice the white oval piece behind the main image that used the stitched oval framelits?  Love the effect of that delicate detailing around the outer edges of the cardstock!}

I cannot wait to get my hands on the new Sale-A-Bration products that are available today!  The Make A Medallion set would take a while to colour but man oh man would it ever be a stunning Black Magic piece!!

If you live anywhere in Canada, I would love to help you get your hands on any Stampin' Up! goodies that you want to order,  especially the fabulous SAB products that are available until March 31.  Contact me HERE and I will be happy to place your orders for you or you can place your own order online HERE.  If your order is less than $200, please use the hostess code VP7YFXQ9 when you check out

Better yet - if you want LOTS of fabulous products, you should consider getting a Starter Kit and saving TONS of money!  Literally hundreds of dollars!  Check out the details HERE.  I would so love to have you on my Team -. The Canadian Sunshine Stampers.

Hope you like my cards and are enjoying the rest of the Blog hop too.  All the other terrific products are done by the spectacular group of stampers listed at the bottom of this post.  Check them out.  I know I am going to!

Thanks for stopping by.
Have an absolutely fantastic rest-of-your-week.
God Bless you all,    ~Cynthia   <><
