April Onstage Global Bloghop - Graceful Glass

Hello My Wonderful Friends

I had an absolute BLAST the weekend after Easter when I got to go attend a Stampin' Up! event in London, ON (Canada).  SU! demonstrators (~8000 of us) gathered at 14 sites worldwide to attend a sort of mini-convention called "OnStage", to see the new Stampin' Up! products and to receive training in some of the new goodies.
Roses and a Bird stamped and cut using the framelits and coloured using the Stampin' Blends.  I LOVE the effect of using white-on-white diecuts to cover the front of the card, making it seem like the card front was embossed.

I was honoured to be one of the demonstrators who got to present on the stage itself and show the introduce the rest of the demonstrators to one of the GORGEOUS new product suites that will be available in the upcoming Annual Catalogue.
Colouring the vellum makes a pretty image become absolutely gorgeous!  And I am so glad black embossing powder is coming back into the new catalogue!

The GRACEFUL GLASS suite includes a beautiful stamp set (Painted Glass), breathtaking thinlits (Stained Glass), and designer vellum (Graceful Glass) -- all of which can be used to create stunning projects.
I love that you can colour the vellum with Stampin' Blends or regular markers!  This sample is coloured from behind using the Stampin' Markers.

I gave a sneak peak of my OnStage samples in an earlier post (see them HERE) but I wanted to show you a few of them again.  Because I mean...they are just.  so.   pretty!  Any project you create using the Graceful Glass suite is gorgeous, let's face it!
I'm so glad the Basket Weave embossing folder is going to remain a current item.  Turning it around so the back is showing, gives a different and subtle effect (It was hard to capture the effect just so...but with the shadows in this photo, you can see the 'debossed' background)!

I am so excited to jump through this blog hop and see the samples that were made by some of the other participants.  I know that Stampin' Up! recruited some VERY talented people at each of the locations to help showcase some of the great new products we get to order from the upcoming catalogue.

I for one, just can't wait!

Brusho creates just the perfect background for this super elegant garden arbor.

I will leave you with this one final card sample - since I love how the Brusho turned out for this particular card background.  And then, I invite you to hop over to the next blog to see the super projects my fellow demo has in store for you!

Don't forget to visit everyone.  And feel free to leave comments to let us know what you think of the samples we created, and how much you are looking forward to the new catalogue.
