Lest We Forget

 My Dearest Friends

Last spring when I ordered them, I created some gorgeous cards using the beautiful Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments stamp sets.  No, I did not share them (I was absent from my blog for a very long time).  I also ordered the matching dies but I admit that I have not had much time to play with the Painted Labels and Poppy Moments dies.  (Bear in mind that it is always financially advantageous to purchase these as a bundle:  Peaceful Moments Bundle and Painted Poppies Bundle)

But they are gorgeous.  All of them.  And today, of all days, I could not let the opportunity pass to remind you of just how inspiring a poppy can be.  Other demonstrators have shared their beautiful creations, so I will show you two of those:

Michele Miller created this beautiful framed decor piece using the Poppy Moments dies, the Banner Pick a Punch and the Playful Alphabet dies (and adhesive sheets).  Cardstock used was Garden Green, Poppy Parade and Whisper White, along with some red rhinestone basic jewels for a subtle shine. (The shadow frame is from IKEA)

Carolyn Crann Arnold also shared a stunning card - using Basic Black, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green and Whisper White cardstock and the Red Velvet Specialty paper, the Poppy Moments dies, as well as Memento Ink and and the Country Home stamp set for the sentiment.

I love what these ladies have done.  Don't you?   It is so important to remember this day and all those who have sacrificed (and continue to sacrifice) so much for all of us.

Naturally, if you wish to purchase any of these items, I am happy to help you.  You may shop online HERE (and please use the host code Y23G9DUC).  Enjoy the rest of your day.

Blessings to you today, and all the rest.   Love Cynthia    <><
