Sweetie Pie #1 - All About You!

Hello Friends

I am *so* excited.  I received my newest Stampin' Up! photopolymer set on Friday and today I got to play with it.  The set is called "Sweetie Pie" and you are really going to want this set.  It is so stinkin' cute!!

So cute, in fact, that I had to make a quick card for each of my 3 daughters.  And I am going to post them all today.  Here is the first Sweetie Pie for my Sweetie Pie #1:

We have a standard joke in our family - a running joke that my eldest daughter uses all the time to crack us up.  In various situations, she has us all in stitches by saying that "it's all about me".  So when this sentiment appeared in the Really Good Greetings stamp set last year, I knew I had to use it on a card for her!

This is a really simple card that came together quickly.  I have loads of ideas for the Sweetie Pie set but for my first cards, I wanted it to be all about the images and I wanted to show you how they could easily pull off a cute card on their own.

So what do you think?  Pretty cute, huh?

Come back after lunch and I'll show you the card(s) I've made for darling daughter #2.  And then at supper I'll post the Sweetie Pie card for my #3 sweetie pie.  All of them are quick.  Easy.  Uber cute.  And quite simply...."sweet".

Washi Butterflies

I must be crazy!

Why would I promise to make and post a new card 'tomorrow' using products from the butterfly bundle that is on sale.....and make that promise on a long weekend?!  Ack.  What was I thinking?!

So in the interest of making a card as fast as I could and posting even faster.....here you go.  A bit of washi tape.  Punched butterflies.  Really Good Greetings and some piercing.  Voila.  

Have family coming over for a BBQ today so there is LOTS to do here!  But check again tomorrow.  I hope to give you another instalment then.

Thankful Thursday - My Super Team-Mates!

Hello Dear Friends

I wanted to post a Thankful Thursday today to let you know how much I value my Team Mates.  I have a group of ladies who come to my home each month to share my excitement about Stampin' Up! and all the gorgeous products that are available.  These ladies make me laugh.  They make me smile.  And they keep me humble.  We have a blast sharing ideas and information and I love having them share their crafting joy with me.  Of course, no one has a complaint about the perks, either - for instance, they all get to enjoy a minimum 20% discount on everything that they buy.  Check out the details here or ask me how you can enjoy a 20% discount on everything you buy too!

At any rate, last week when they came to my home, we created some cute cards and this one is too uber-cute to not share.  I wanted my Team to get their hands on the Expression Thinlits and see how easy they are to use - but it was too early to jump into Christmas just yet, so we created this "Love" card.  And you thought the Expressions Thinlits were only for the Holidays!

And notice that beautiful new embossing folder used with Smoky Slate Core-dinations paper?  I am loving that Stampin' Up! has made the Core-dinations paper available in every colour and I can't wait to use them all!
