Hello My Friends and I am sorry I was gone for so long.
No explanations today and no long-winded post as I am pressed for time. But here is a quick card using the new "From the Herd" stamp set. I also used the new Bouquet BigZ die and the Hardwood stamp to create the picket fence LOVE how that turned out!!
Hope you like my little creation. Hope to get back into the swing of things for tomorrow.
Til then - have a wonderful - if very COLD day!
God Bless,
~Cynthia

DIY Designer Paper - Your Preferred Variation?
Good Morning My Friends
Since I am visiting at my parent's home and am without most of my supplies, I decided to make my own. Well.... sort of!
I just received the fun and funky "What's Your Type" photopolymer stamp set and was dying to play with it so I brought it with me on my holiday. I really didn't have any particular image in mind to create with the varied shapes, so I decided instead to make my own designer paper! I absolutely love how easy it is to get accurate placement of images when you use photopolymer stamps!! Believe me - I was able to quite quickly produce a piece of very funky faux designer paper!
You might also remember that I brought all of my Blendabilities with me on vacation as I have not yet had a really good chance to play with them. So today I set about colouring some flowers (Beautiful Bunch) and some butterflies (Papillon Potporri). Can I just mention that I am *still* loving my Blendabilities and I think everyone should sign up for my virtual Blendabilities club (details HERE). Trust me - you are going to want them *all* so you may as well get them the easiest and least expensive way possible!
Regardless - after fussy cutting out the images, I was having a hard time deciding on the best placement of the elements on my faux DSP. I have 4 different variations here - but nothing is glued down permanently yet. So I am going to ask you,my friends, to weigh in.
Which or the 4 placements do you prefer?
Naturally I will have to once again do a random draw of all those who weigh in (by Friday), and that person will receive this card - glued down, of course, in their preferred design!!
In the meantime, while I wait to hear back from you, my friends, I will wish to all of you a wonderful (and not too hot) day!! God Bless, ~Cynthia <><

Blendabilities - Can You See the Difference?
Hi Friends
Still here in southern Ontario enjoying time with my family....but I am *also* enjoying a chance to play with my Blendabilities a bit. I really liked how Sunday's card turned out and I wanted to see if the Blendabilities looked any different when used on Very Vanilla cardstock instead of Whisper White.
You tell me.....
I tried to make my colouring and card construction as identical as possible so that any differences beween Whisper White or Very Vanilla might be more pronounced.
But honestly?
Except for the fact that I might have been a bit more vigorous in my use of the Colour Lifter for the Vanilla-based images than the White ones, well aside from that there is very little difference at all.
And certainly nothing that would make you think you *had* to use Whisper White as your card backing.
Good to know!
But I'd like to hear from you. Tell me...do YOU see a difference?
So there you have it folks. Our Blendabilities can be used equally successfully on our Whisper White cardstock and our Very Vanilla cardstock! And trust me, I can see me using them a LOT in the future.
If you'd like to play with your very own Blendabilities (at the very best price possible), check out my Blendabilities (virtual) club HERE.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! God Bless, ~Cynthia <><

So Thankful - and It's Not Even Thursday!
Hello My Dear and Wonderful Friends!
I am still basking in the glow and happiness of finding out on Friday night that I had been named as one of the 2014 Founder's Circle Achievers. E-mails, FB messages, texts and phone calls have all arrived to remind me of just how wonderful all of you are.
And then I went to Mass and I got to praise God for the profound blessings He has bestowed upon me!
I am blessed, so very blessed!
At any rate, I wanted to present a big THANK YOU to all of you, once again, for making this Founder's Circle achievement possible! And what better way than with a gorgeous card created using the new Blendabilities; Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight for the large Blended Bloom image. Daffodil Delight for the butterflies. And Calypso Coral and Daffodil for the small flowers. Since I am still visiting family and did not bring any punches with me, I was forced to fussy cut all of these images! So those of you who know me will understand exactly *how* appreciative I must be of all of you, in order for me to do that! ;)
If you have not yet purchased the Blendabilities, then trust me, you really want to. And if you want them ALL (like I do), then check out my Blendabilities Club HERE. You can get ALL of the markers, plus the accessories, plus 2 stamp pads...all for less than the cost of purchasing them individually. It's a sweet deal my friends. And heaven knows my sweet friends deserve a sweet deal!
Going to a Family Reunion this afternoon so I'll be reconnecting with a lot of family for the rest of the day. But know this....YOU are also my family. Each and every one of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Enjoy the rest of your day and God Bless, ~Cynthia <><

Thankful Thursday - Finally Back!
Hello Friends
After a somewhat long hiatus, I am finally back and boy oh boy do I have some gorgeous cards to show you!
I held my Inspiration Stamp Day last Saturday and 37 women got to each make 20 different cards, using stamps and products from the new catalogue. Over the next few days I'll show them all to you so you can see what fun new things await you in the 2014-15 catalogue.
For those of you who missed my 20-card class - I am offering a 2-go package that includes all of the scored, cut and embossed materials for you to make these cards. It also includes a goody bag worth $20+ that contains all of the embellishments needed for these cards, as well as extras for creating more cards on your own. In compliance with Stampin' Up! policy, no pre-stamping has been done. If you would like to order a 2-go package, please contact me and we can arrange pick-up (if local) or shipping to you (Canada only). And mark your calendars now....my next 20-card class (for the Holiday catalogue) is already booked for September 13!
Back to the matter at hand -- Perhaps you noticed the Razzleberry rhinestones in the corners of the Kinda Eclectic card above, as well as the Mossy Green button on the World of Dreams card to the left? The participants of my Inspiration Stamp Day were thrilled to discover that our new Blendabilities markers can be used to colour buttons, rhinestones, pearls, embossing powder and more! You can own ALL of the Blendabilities PLUS stamp sets and accessories at a discount by joining the virtual "Blendabilities Club". Click here for more details.
Well, I'll need to post this now or my hiatus will be extended even longer! But since today is Thursday, I am putting out a Thankful Thursday message to just say how Thankful I am that everything is "getting back to normal" here. Piano lessons are done for the year. Flute lessons are done. Music Theory is over. Youth Group is on summer hiatus. Choir is finished. ConQuest is done. School is almost done..... I love this time of year where we are heading in towards carefree days without scheduling!!
So I am Thankful today for life getting back to what I consider "normal". Or at least carefree. For however long that may be. :)
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and can focus on the things that make you Thankful!
God Bless, ~Cynthia <><

Blendabilities
are an exclusive alcohol-based marker set that come in a 3-pack of light,
medium and dark shades (of the same color ), and provide your projects a more
saturated look with blended colors. We recommend using Stampin' Up! Whisper
White Cardstock when using them, but any of our cardstocks will work.
What
sets Blendabilities apart:
- The rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away
- Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker
- Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine
- Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray
- Color coded caps
- Can be used with transparent sheets and to color pearls, rhinestones, buttons, clay, etc
- And of course...Stampin' Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock!
The
first set of Blendabilities products will be available for customers by late
June/early July and will include:
- Coastal Cabana
- Cherry Cobbler
- Daffodil Delight
- Old Olive
- Pumpkin Pie

Thankful Thursday - Sneak Peak of Our New Blendabilities
Hello Friends
I am thankful, so very, very thankful, that the wait is almost over! The new catalogue is available for ordering from beginning next Monday and I absolutely cannot wait!! How about you?
Here's a quick sneak peak to show you just some of the reasons you should be thankful....see the gorgeous and subtly blended colouring of the poppies? Look closely at the close-up below. Yes. You guessed it. Stampin' Up! has come out with alcohol markers that make it possible for everyone to colour and shade and blend like an expert! The new Blendabilities are WONDERFUL and you definitely want to get your hands on them!
Pssst - Wanna know a secret? The least expensive way for you to get the Blendabilities, PLUS get free training in how to use them, is to join my Blendabilities Club. Check out this link for more information.)
I haven't got very many new stamp sets to show you yet so for today I used the Pleasant Poppies stamp set, but trust me when I tell you that there are plenty of gorgeous stamp sets in the new catalogue that you will be dying to colour using your Blendabilities!!
And maybe, just maybe, those cute little blossoms are part of today's Sneak Peak too?! They're from the Something to Say stamp set and they were punched using the coordinating Itty Bitty Accents Punch. Woo Hoo. I LOVE stamp sets that coordinate with punches and I *especially love* flower stamps that can be punched out. I think these will layer beautifully with our Petite Petals stamp set, don't you?
And finally - notice the "yellow rhinestone" in the centre of the poppy and also the blossoms? One of the fantastic features of our new Blendabilities is that they are permanent so I was able to colour some rhinestones with a Daffodil Blendability so that they match my cardstock perfectly!
Love, love LOVE the new Blendabilities and you will too!
Gotta go now. In addition to being thankful about the new catalogue, I have a lot of preparation to do so I can run my 20-card Inspiration Stamp Day on June 14th - using new stamp sets and products. Are you registered yet? You don't want to miss out on this chance to create 20 gorgeous cards in a single day!
Hope to see you all soon. And I hope you have your own reasons to be thankful today. God Bless, ~Cynthia <><
