My Happy Easter Happy Mail!

Good Morning My Friends

I love it when my mailbox has a hidden surprise in it.  Happy Mail instead of bills!

One of my dear friends sent this to me and I received it - quite happily - on Thursday.

S.H. is a customer, one of my Team members, and more importantly, a dear friend - and I LOVE this card she made for me.  So cute and so thoughtful.  Wouldn't you agree?

And this is not the first time she has sent a handmade card in the mail to me!

Even though we see each other at least once a month, I love how she thinks of me from time to time and sends me gorgeous little pick-me-up cards in the mail.  We should all be as thoughtful as her and send more happy mail to our friends and family - and more often too - don't you think?

And just a note to all of you - if, like S.H. you would like to get all your Stampin' Up! treasures at a DISCOUNT then contact me.  You really should think about purchasing a Starter Kit.  It is always a good deal but until March 31, it is an even better deal.
You pay only $125 [NO s&h and NO TAX] but you get to choose $195-worth of goodies!!  That is an EXTRA $40 FREE goodies.  Anyone in Canada can sign up to be on my team - the Canadian Sunshine Stampers - I would love to let you know how we can save you money and get you more of the stampin' treasures you want.  Contact me for more information.

In the meantime, there is much to do this Holy Saturday morning.  Prep work for tomorrow's Easter feast.  A little bit of chocolate to attend to.  And as I look around this room, a little bit of cleaning to do too!  (ok.  Maybe a LOT of cleaning to do....)

Have a wonderful, blessed and glorious Easter my friends!
God Bless,     ~Cynthia   <><

Neeje Crop - 2015 - Bunny Fry Box

Hi Friends

I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the Neeje Crop on Saturday.  The Neeje Association for Women and Families is a wonderful organization here in Ottawa and I am proud to say that I have been one of the attendees every year that the Crop-fundraiser has been held.

Once again this year I will be representing Stampin' Up! and as such, I will hold a few classes during the day.

Here is one of them:

Attendees will get to make this super-cute Bunny Fry box to use for Easter treats.  How cute is that?!?  Participants will be able to make as many as they want, for $2 apiece.

How about you?  Don't you wish you were going now?  Never fear, I think I will offer the bunny box as part of a class during March so keep your eyes peeled for my announcement about when that will be.

Until then, hope you are all enjoying a wonderful week.  God Bless,   ~Cynthia      <><

Happy Easter !!

Happy Easter to everyone!!

A day of rebirth and renewal!  We celebrated a lovely Easter Vigil Mass at our church last night, followed by a Resurrection party.  Wonderful service.  Wonderful evening.  Truly He is Risen!

And on that note - one of my friends used the He Is Risen stamp set to create this beautiful card.  She is an amazing lady who, in addition to being my friend, happens to be the very first recruit I ever got.  Although, to be honest, she is a craft genius and I did not "recruit" her through any of my own merits.  She wanted to capitalize on the Demonstrator Starter Kit Special last summer, and I was lucky enough to be her upline of choice.  I am very thankful that she chose me and I have been extremely blessed in getting to know her better ever since.

At any rate, Michelle gifted me with this stunning Easter card that I am sharing with you today.

Pear Pizzazz, Perfect Plum and Vanilla all come together beautifully in her creation.  The lilies from the He Is Risen stamp set were selectively coloured with the Perfect Plum Stampin' Write marker, then the leaves and stem were coloured in with Pear Pizzazz.  The sentiment is stamped on Very Vanilla in Perfect Plum, punched with the Wide Oval punch, and layered on a Plum backing made using the Decorative Label Punch.  All three pieces of cardstock  making up the front of the card were cut using the Adorning Accents Edgelit Die, and the vanilla piece was also embossed with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.

Some Pleated Satin Ribbon and Basic Pearls finish off what I am certain you will agree is an absolutely beautiful card.
Serene.  Peaceful.  Elegant.
Like the card's creator.
And, come to think of it, her Creator!

I pray that everyone enjoys a Peace-Filled Easter and basks in the glorious gift Our Lord and Saviour gave us.    He is Risen Indeed!

God Bless you all,    ~Cynthia    <><

Bunny Punch Art

If you've never popped over to check her out, you really should take a glance at Lorri Heiling's blog.  The woman is an artist!  And I absolutely loved the bunny card she posted a while back.  I wanted to CASe it for my club ladies with some minor changes, and here is what I came up with.

The outside of the card presents a cute and still-tasteful bunny butt to bring a smile to your face.   Then the inside of the card has Mr. Rabbit peaking thoughtfully through the hole.  How adorable is that?

The card is made using all Stampin' Up! punches (the whiskers are hand cut) with some Beautiful Wings embosslit butterflies thrown in.  If you know me, you know I LOVE those butterflies!.  The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen and the grass, naturally, is from the ever-so-lovely Inspired By Nature set.

My club ladies seemed to enjoy making this Easter Card.  There were a lot of little paper bits flying around the table, and sponging all the white edges with Crumb Cake ink to give them depth took a bit of time - but the end result made everyone smile.  Hope it brings a smile to your face too!  Check back tomorrow.  I have a wonderful Fast and Fabulous Friday card for you!

Enjoy your day and God Bless,     ~Cynthia   <><
